My name is Dr. Kalkstein and I am happy to be joining the team at Kukurin Chiropractic. I am a 2009 graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Prior to chiropractic school,
I received my Bachelors degree in Athletic Training from Penn State.
I enjoy staying active in my free time by spending time golfing or working out at the gym. I'm a homegrown Pittsburgh sports fan and I love going to games, whether it's Steelers, Penguins, Pirates, or Penn State.
I first became interested in chiropractic while working as a student athletic trainer. I got to see first-hand the incredible results that chiropractic care can offer to patients and/or athletes. My favorite part about athletic training was the hands-on treatment approach and that is the main focus of chiropractic care, so I set out to get my D.C. degree by using my sports medic
ine knowledge as an important stepping stone. I implement many different treatment and adjusting techniques including Activator, Thompson drop, and Palmer package.
